Waitlist privacy notice

This notice covers the AfterOdds waitlist on afterodds.com, which is for people in the United States. “AfterOdds”, “we” and “us” mean AfterOdds LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. This notice explains what we collect when you visit and when you join, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

Effective date: November 6, 2026

What we collect

When you join, we save your email address and your confirmation that you’re 18 or older.

We also save a record of what you agreed to and when, and a note of each email we’ve sent you.

If you choose to tell us after you join: which state you file your taxes in. We use it only as described under “Why we collect it”. The question is optional, nothing is filled in for you, and skipping it doesn’t affect your spot.

To limit repeat signups, our server turns your IP address into a keyed hash, a one-way code made with a secret key, and saves it with the time. We don’t save your IP address itself in our database, and we don’t store the hash with your email address.

When you visit, an analytics provider counts the visit. It receives which page you opened and when, the website that sent you, the source, medium, campaign and content tags in the link, your browser type and operating system as your browser reports them, and your time zone. If you join the waitlist or open a link from one of our launch updates, it also receives that you did. It never receives your email address or anything else you type into the form.

To count a visitor once a day without cookies, the provider briefly uses your IP address and browser type. It is set up to discard IP addresses, so yours isn’t saved with the visit.

We don’t ask for your name, your betting accounts, or anything about your bets.

Why we collect it

When you join, you agree to this: “We’ll send you launch updates. Unsubscribe anytime.”

We use your email address to send you launch updates about AfterOdds, including when it’s your turn to get in.

We keep your age confirmation and your consent record to show that you met the age requirement and what you agreed to.

We use your state, if you choose to tell us, to decide which states we support first and to tell you when yours is added. That message is one of our launch updates, so unsubscribing stops it too. We do not use your answer for anything else.

We use the IP hash only to limit how many signups come from one network in a short time.

We use the visit counts to see how many people come to the site, which pages they read, and which links bring them.

What we never do

We never sell your information, and we never share it for advertising. Our security check provider uses some signals from your browser for its own bot detection, as described under “Who helps us.”

We never use it to train AI.

This site carries no ads or advertising trackers.

Your browser may send a Do Not Track signal. This site works the same way whether or not it does, because we don’t use advertising trackers or follow you across other websites.

Who helps us

A database hosting provider stores the waitlist.

Our web host runs this site and our server code. Like any web host, it receives your IP address when you visit.

Cloudflare Turnstile, our security check, confirms that a person, not a bot, is using the form. It may run on the signup page even if you don’t join. It reads signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type. When you submit, our server sends Cloudflare the check’s result and your IP address to confirm it. Cloudflare offers the same check to other websites and uses these signals only to detect bots and improve how it detects them, as its Turnstile privacy notice explains (cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy). We don’t let any company use this site to track what you do across other websites.

Our email provider sends our emails. When we email you, it receives your email address and the message.

Our inbox provider hosts our privacy@afterodds.com mailbox and receives the emails you send us.

An analytics provider counts visits to this site, as described under “What we collect.” Analytics on the waitlist page store nothing in cookies or in browser storage, build no profile of you, and do not record your session.

Legal requests and new owners

We may share information when the law requires it, such as to answer a subpoena or court order, or when we need to protect the rights, property or safety of AfterOdds, the people on our waitlist, or others.

If AfterOdds merges with another company, is acquired, or sells its business, the waitlist may move to the new owner, but only if it keeps the promises in this notice.

How we protect it

Everything you send us through this site is encrypted on its way to us and while it’s stored with us.

We limit access to the waitlist to what running it requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your entry until AfterOdds opens to the public, and for 24 months after that, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If AfterOdds hasn’t opened to the public within 24 months after you join, we delete your entry then.

Your state answer is part of that entry too. We keep it only as long as we keep the entry. There is no separate clock for it.

We keep each IP hash for at least a day. Hashes more than a day old are deleted the next time anyone joins.

Unsubscribing

Every launch update has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops launch updates.

It doesn’t delete your entry. We save a note that you unsubscribed and when, so you stay unsubscribed even if someone enters your address again. To remove your entry too, ask us to delete it.

Seeing, correcting, or deleting your information

Email privacy@afterodds.com from the address on the waitlist. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

If the address on your entry is wrong, we’ll delete that entry, and you can join again with the right one.

If you ask about a different address, we’ll check with that address first.

For a deletion, we reply within 10 business days and finish within 30 days after we verify your request. It’s usually much sooner.

What deletion removes

Deleting your entry removes your email address and everything saved with it, including any unsubscribe note.

Deleting your entry deletes your state answer too.

It also removes any contact our email provider holds for your address.

After that, we send nothing more to that address. You can join again later as a new signup.

What stays for a short time after deletion

We keep a one-way code made from your email address, not the address itself. It isn’t made with a secret key, so someone who already knows your address could match it to the code.

We keep it only so that, if we ever restore the waitlist from a backup, we can delete your entry again. We keep that record for about five weeks, or until you join again, whichever comes first.

Backups are kept for a limited time, up to 30 days, so a backup can hold a copy of your entry for up to 30 days after deletion.

If we’ve already emailed you, our email provider may keep its own record of those emails under its own retention rules.

We permanently delete your request email, and our replies to it, from our inbox when your deletion is finished. Our inbox provider may keep its own copy under its own retention rules. We keep a note of the date you asked and the date we finished, without your address, for 24 months from the date the deletion finished.

Your IP hash isn’t linked to your entry, so deletion doesn’t touch it. It’s deleted on its own schedule, as described above.

Age

The waitlist is for people 18 or older. If you think someone under 18 has joined, email privacy@afterodds.com and we’ll delete the entry.

Changes and questions

If we change what we collect, why we collect it, what kinds of companies help us handle it, or how long we keep it, we’ll update this notice and its effective date before the change takes effect.

If a change would let us use information we already hold in a materially different way, we’ll ask for your consent first.

Questions go to privacy@afterodds.com.
